HeRSToRy 066 Carman Bradshaw

    Carmen lived in Seneca Falls, NY - 12 miles from the encampment, and was active in the local church, politics and community. She visited the peace camp several times during the summer of 1983 and befriended several peace camp women, one of whom became a lifelong family friend. Following this interview, she hosted a Peace Encampment Herstory Project gathering at her home as part of the Waterloo 54 25th anniversary celebration (see photo below).
